DEFINITION OF A DRUG INVESTIGATION
A hospital questioning a drug adverse event or drug therapeutic response of a patient. In most cases, analyzing the drug (through testing) can typically determine if the drug is correct and at the right strength.
DYNALABS’ APPROACH
DYNALABS can typically analyze a drug and give results within 5-7 business days when determining identity and/or potency. Hospitals have not had this resource, other than sending to the manufacturer and waiting several weeks/months for a result. DYNALABS would ask the hospital for details regarding the investigation, to help assimilate the correct testing regimen. In some cases, DYNALABS can identify if the drug is correct by comparing the pharmaceutical drug to the investigative drug.
