DYNALABS remains committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, so that they continue to help our clients achieve our primary guiding principle of patient safety.
With St. Louis situated on the Missouri / Illinois border, our employees are impacted by events in both states. Over the past week, the Mayor of St. Louis City, the St. Louis County Executive, and Illinois’ Governor, implemented Stay at Home orders for the St. Louis Region and the State of Illinois. In addition to these orders, Missouri Governor Mike Parsons, implemented strict social distancing rules, and restricted social gathering to less than 10 people.
As a critical service supplier to compounding and hospital pharmacies, as well as to 503B Outsourcing Facilities across the nation, DYNALABS is considered an essential business, and is therefore, exempt from these orders. We continue to remain open 6 days a week. To further protect our essential laboratory workforce, we have implemented the following additional policies.
- We have expanded telecommuting to include all employees that do not work directly with samples and/or the testing process. All employees in Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Customer Support, Technical Services and Quality that can telecommute, are now telecommuting, and only come into the facility when necessary.
- We have expanded our required 2 week self-quarantine policy to include, not only individuals that have traveled using mass transit (air, train, ship, bus), but also employees that have traveled by automobile to areas where the infection rate is high and/or accelerating, such as New York, Florida, California etc.
- We are working with our vendors to ensure continued supply of testing materials, and have not had any supply issues to date.
- Essential vendors that are necessary for continued operation of the facility, are being screened for fever and with a questionnaire prior to entering the facility. If they present with a fever, and/or do not answer the questions correctly, they will be restricted from entering the facility.
We continue to restrict on-site audits and non-essential vendor visits, and employees that experience a fever or other symptoms, are being required to stay at home, self-quarantine, and seek medical attention. They will not be allow into the facility until they have been cleared by a medical professional, or tested negative for COVID-19 .
We appreciate the trust that you place in us, and we will continue to use guidance from state and federal health authorities to direct our business practices, so that we can continue to provide you with the highest level of service possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
