co-CEO, Founder (Managing Partner)
Russell cofounded DYNALABS in November of 2003. He is in charge of the day to day operating activities within the organization, driven mainly by the laboratory. This includes managing a comprehensive array of services and programs which centers on innovative ways to enhance our business model.

Russell has over 25 years of experience that spans basic research, product development, operations and quality management, in the medical diagnostic, life sciences, and pharmacy industry segments. Russell has used his experience and knowledge, as well as his skills in communication and influence, to establish a successful track record of mobilizing global cross functional teams around the definition and attainment of common goals and objectives. These strengths, combined with his expertise in project and program management, have translated into the successful world-wide launch of more than 700 products over his career.

Russell received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology at the University of Alberta, and his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.

Outside of work: Russell is a member of the Financial Advisor Board at the University of Missouri St. Louis, and has volunteered his time as a guest speaker and mentor at the Washington University, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Fontbonne University, and University of Missouri St. Louis.

co-CEO, Founder (Managing Partner)
Michael cofounded DYNALABS in November, 2003. He is in charge of the legal, regulatory and administrative functionality of the organization. Michael also manages investor relations and capital acquisition targets to extend/strengthen the company’s business model.

Michael has over 30 years of experience in pharmacy, management and business consulting. Prior to co-founding DYNALABS, Michael worked as an independent management consultant, where he specialized in performance maximization. He holds five patents, one of which is for a pharmaceutical delivery device marketed worldwide. He has held management positions in small start-up companies and large corporations, including Sigma-Aldrich.

Outside work: Michael volunteers as a guest speaker at St. Louis University, University of Missouri at St. Louis and Washington University, as well as volunteering his time with a local animal charity.

President (Managing Partner)

Jun was part of the DYNALABS start-up team in 2003. He led the technical design, development and implementation of the www.dynalabs.us and developed the initial Go-To-Market Strategy.  With over 20 years’ experience, Jun joined DYNALABS in 2014 as their CTO responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of DYNALABS technology development. In addition, Jun will be playing an integral role in DYNALABS’ strategic direction, development, and future growth internationally.

Jun’s experience, includes critical roles as International Market Development Manager for Monsanto Company, Senior Management Consultant for Computer Science Corporation, Internal Business Consultant for Ameren Corporation, and Global Solutions Director for Maritz Inc.

Known for his thought-provoking insights and strong leadership skills, Jun is always eager to innovate and reinvent business solutions. His ability to identify technical and business trends across industries and then translating these into business and technical solutions that drive measurable financial results for clients and stakeholders is a trademark of Jun’s expertise.

Steve Crouse

Chief Financial Officer, CFO

Steve joined DYNALABS in 2016, and has more than 30 years of experience in finance, operations, and human resource management.

Steve has a proven track record of success when working with fast-growing companies; he especially enjoys guiding a company through the intricacies of debt management and providing financial insight during long-term strategic planning.  Steve is skilled in team building, and in providing real-time financial analysis so that decision-makers can be fully informed.

Bill Russell

Vice President of Sales

Bill joined DYNALABS in 2017, and has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. He is responsible for overall management of the Regional Business Managers and Customer Support Specialists ensuring that sales goals and targets are met. Also ensuring customers are satisfied and that any issues are acknowledged and resolved.

He has directed key initiatives, and has ensured alignment and collaboration among sales, technical, and operations staff to maximize sales results. Bill has a track record of success in increasing annual sales through implementing cost-effective methods, identifying a niche in the industry, and new business development. Bill has a skill for identifying industry needs and targeting them.

Director of Operations

Sam began with DYNALABS in February of 2013.  He is responsible for overall management of the Chemistry, Microbiology, Marketing Technical Services, OOS/IR, and Metrology departments. Sam has over 10 years of experience in a wide variety of analytical testing capacities which include method development and routine sample analysis utilizing liquid and gas chromatography as well as wet chemistry techniques. His expertise is in creating and implementing methodology that is not only accurate and efficient, but exercises a high level of robustness, reproducibility, and traceability.

Nichole DiLoretta

Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs

Nichole joined DYNALABS in August 2017. In her position as Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Nichole is responsible for daily QA operations as well as corporate projects related to quality and regulatory compliance.
Nichole has 9 years of experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry. Her experience includes quality management, product development, cGMP, SOPs, CAPA, OOS investigations, and ISO and USDA accreditation. She has worked extensively with pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, product development, validations, and product specification. She holds Forensic Science certification from Saint Louis University. Nichole’s exceptional communication and analytical skills will drive DYNALABS’ quality assurance to the next level.

Joseph Pruett

Manager, Sample Management

Joe joined the DYNALABS team in December 2014 as a part of the Sales Team. In addition to his duties in the Sales Department, he was entrusted with the responsibility of building and entering formulas into the computer data base. In 2015, Joe was promoted to Supervisor of Sample Management, where he worked diligently to organize and build a strong cohesive team that is responsible for the storing and management of customer samples. Joe and his team were instrumental in a successful bar coding transition, which vastly increased accountability and traceability. Joe was promoted to Manager of Sample Management in 2017.

Joe has over 30 years of experience as a staff pharmacist in both retail and hospital settings; as well as in Nuclear and Compounding Pharmacies. Joe aspires to continue moving forward, contributing to the growth and efficiency of Sample Management and DYNALABS as a collective body.

Joe graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree. He also received his Radiation Safety Officer certification from UCLA in 1984. When not in the professional work setting, Joe enjoys spending his time cooking for his wife and family.


Dan Husted

Manager of Marketing Technical Services

Dan began with DYNALABS in February of 2014.  He is responsible for management of Marketing Technical Services.  Dan has over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical testing techniques which include compendial assessments, wet chemistry, and routine sample analysis utilizing liquid and gas chromatography. His expertise is knowing and understanding the currently regulatory state and being able to effectively communicate these requirements to customers.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois.


Steve Rulon

Human Resources Manager

Steve joined DYNALABS in October 2016 with more than 18 years of experience in human resources management.

Steve is a strategically driven human resources professional.  He has a solid background in multi-state and international human resources, talent management, talent acquisition, organizational development, HR legal compliance, employee relations and benefits and compensation.

Steve holds his Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and Masters of Science Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from National-Louis University in Chicago, IL


Ana Huttsell

Microbiology Manager

Ana began her career with DYNALABS in January 2013. She is responsible for overseeing day to day laboratory operations while maintaining compliance and quality assurance. Ana has 4 years of experience and an extensive background in microbiology routine testing which includes sterility, particulate, and endotoxin. She is also familiar with method suitability and rapid sterility techniques. Ana ensures processes, procedures, and productivity are maintained at a consistent level of high performance within the microbiology department.

Ana received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Fontbonne University, in St. Louis, Missouri. During this time, she played Division III volleyball and softball and was the captain of her volleyball team.


Katie Lampe

Chemistry Manager

Katie began her career with DYNALABS in June 2013. She is responsible for overseeing day to day Chemistry laboratory operations while being responsible for technical review of validation work and product testing. Katie has 6 years of lab experience, and she has extensive experience in liquid chromatography. She is trained on methods and equipment used in analytical, wet-bench, and microbiological testing for cGMP rules and regulations. Katie ensures processes, procedures, and productivity are maintained at a consistent level of high performance within the Chemistry department.

Katie is responsible for the organization of sample throughput within the Chemistry lab from the date received to the date of completion. This includes scheduling for the chemistry lab, which consists of, but is not limited to, making sure all samples have the correct concentration, units, specification range, and salt form. Katie is also accountable for constant interdepartmental communication to ensure sample turn-around times are met.

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2011, she was awarded the Recipient of Aid to Education Chemistry Award.


Carla Kutz

Principle Consultant

Carla is responsible for working closely with clients to implement CQI, quality systems, and addressing any issues with process optimization, validation, and other regulatory compliance issues.

Carla has almost 30 years of experience including analytical and micro laboratory management, quality control, quality assurance, food safety and regulatory affairs roles supporting pharmaceutical and food manufacturers.
