Testing
For compounded sterile preparations prepared from non-sterile sources (CSPs), currently available testing services will consist of:
• Potency/Purity (Proprietary Methods)
• Sterility (USP 71)
• Endotoxin (USP 85)
• Particulate Matter (USP 788)
• Stability Studies
• Consulting Services
Using a proprietary analytical technology (patent pending), Dynalabs can provide accurate, high-speed potency/purity analysis at a fraction of the cost of currently-used technology. This allows Dynalabs to report the results of this test to the pharmacist much more quickly than other labs, usually within one business day of sample receipt. Using a more efficient process, Dynalabs is also able to provide the pharmacist with the results of most endotoxin tests within one business day. Sterility testing has a mandated seven-day waiting period (FDA Regulations); however, Dynalabs can provide most "fail" results to the pharmacist by the end of day three.
Consulting
Complementing the core testing services are Dynalabs' training programs for compounding pharmacists, enabling pharmacy compliance with training requirements mandated in the new regulations. Dynalabs also offers consultative services to identify and correct deficiencies in laboratory operations that could cause samples to fail compendial testing.
