Bios

Russell Odegard

Managing Partner and Cofounder of DYNALABS

Russell cofounded DYNALABS in November of 2003. He is in charge of managing the daily operations of the laboratory, facilitating the design, construction and continual improvement of the DYNALABS website. He works with the executive team on setting the strategic direction of DYNALABS. Russell plays an integral role in the design and development of a new "point-of-use" testing instrument targeted at patient medication safety that will soon be launched into the hospital pharmacy marketplace.

Russell has over 25 years of experience that spans basic research, product development, operations and quality management, in the medical diagnostic, life sciences, and pharmacy industry segments. Russell has used his experience and knowledge, as well as his skills in communication and influence to establish a successful track record of mobilizing global cross functional teams around the definition and attainment of common goals and objectives. These strengths combined with his expertise in project and program management, has translated into the successful world-wide launch of more than 700 products over his career.

Russell received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology at the University of Alberta, and his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.

Outside of work: Russell is a member of the Financial Advisor Board at the University of Missouri St. Louis, and has volunteered his time as a guest speaker and mentor at the Washington University, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Fontbonne University, and University of Missouri St. Louis.


Michael Pruett

Managing Partner and Co-founder of DynaLabs

Michael cofounded DYNALABS in November, 2003. He is in charge of ensuring legal, financial, regulatory and administrative functions are operating smoothly. Michael also manages investor relations, capital acquisition, seeking new business opportunities and strategic initiatives. This includes the new "point-of-use" testing instrument designed to increase patient safety in hospital settings.

Michael has over 27 years of experience in pharmacy, management and business consulting. Prior to co-founding DynaLabs, Mr. Pruett worked as an independent management consultant, where he specialized in performance maximization. He holds five patents, one of which is for a pharmaceutical delivery device soon to be marketed worldwide. He has held management positions in small start-up companies and large corporations, including Sigma-Aldrich.

Scott Glover

President

Scott came to DYNALABS in the beginning of 2010. He is responsible for the continued commercialization of the analytical testing business. He is in charge of re-vamping the strategy, business model and value proposition, corporate promotion/communication, optimizing the marketing/sales plans, establishing strategic partnerships and alliances, and alignment/profile of the organization and resources. Additional focus includes launching a new "point-of-use" instrument into the hospital pharmacy marketplace for patient medication safety.

Scott has over 25 years of experience across the medical, pharmaceutical, life science and pharmacy industry segments. He has expertise in the strategy, sales, marketing and business development disciplines, all within the Fortune 500 company footprint. He has established a successful track record through this experience and knowledge in leading commercial organizations, developing business models, strategic plans, executing on tactical initiatives and delivering financial goals and objectives. He provides a real world application to the strategic and tactical challenges of a business.

Previous employment includes:

  • Abbott Laboratories (sales rep level to director of sales)
  • Sigma- Aldrich (VP of Global Marketing)
  • Cardinal Health (VP of Sales and Marketing - Pharmacy division)

Scott received a degree in Industrial Management with an Industrial Engineering minor from Purdue University.

Outside of work: Scott is a board member of the non-profit organization Job Alliance.


Steve Crouse

Chief Financial Officer

Steve came to DYNALABS in the beginning of 2006. He is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business, as well as the company's benefit packages. He is in charge of maintaining adequate cash flows, as well as acquiring funding for the many growth initiatives of the company.

Steve has over 25 years of experience across several industry segments including: retail, wholesale, national and international distribution. He has expertise in the financial, strategic, operational, and human resource disciplines. This expertise is from all ranges of companies from small to Fortune 500. Through this experience and knowledge, he has established a successful track record in leading growing organizations, developing strategic plans, executing on tactical initiatives and delivering financial goals and objectives. He provides a real world application to the strategic and tactical challenges of a business.

Previous employment includes:

  • The Foreign Candy Co., Inc. (Vice President of Finance and Operations)
  • Allparts Inc. (VP and General Manager)
  • XTRA Corp. (General Accounting Manager)

Steve received an MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City


Steve Roessler

National Account Manager

Steve has been with DynaLabs since 2005. He is in charge of business development by focusing on large compounding pharmacies, hospitals, biotechs, and home infusions. Since Steve has been with DynaLabs he has grown the customer and sales department over 500%. Steve Roessler has over 12 years of successful selling in the pharmaceutical, medical device and compounding markets. In the pharmaceutical industry, Steve has won 3 awards for his efforts in growing market share, achieving hospital therapeutic substitution and developing pathways for hospitals/patients. At Medtronic, he developed a system to expedite the referral network for his surgeons for pain pumps and spinal cord stimulation.

Working at a small company, Steve is proud to watch the success of DynaLabs, winning the St. Louis Business of the Year Award in 2006, Top 20/Under 20 in 2008 and the 2009 Small Business Administration's Team of the Year Award for Missouri.

Steve received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia.


Deena Stuchell

Quality Manager

Deena came to Dynalabs in March 2007. She is responsible for managing all aspects of Dynalabs’ Quality System, including Document Management, Internal Auditing, Non Conformances and Corrective/Preventive Actions. As a result of her efforts, Dynalabs was certified to ISO 9001:2008 in Feb 2009. She focuses on continual process improvement of the Quality System.

Deena has over 30 years experience across various segments of the science industry, including medical and research laboratories, small start up companies as well as large corporations. She has hands on expertise in lab techniques, and prior to position at Dynalabs, has held supervisory positions in manufacturing, quality control, and validation.
